I usually leave a 1/2-inch un-cut on top. With a small paring knife, cut cheese into quarters lengthwise (make 4 strands) without cutting it all the way through. Unwrap the string cheese and cut them into 2-inch length. I am surprisingly well prepared this year. I noticed that pretzels will get soggy after several hours in the fridge. If you’re making these for a party, I suggest that you prepare everything but to add the pretzel sticks right before serving. And guess what, I’ll be preparing these fun little treats for my Daughter’s Halloween Party at school this year. So, I decided to share the video tutorial and recipe with you early this year so you can make some at home, just in time for Halloween. I immediately fell in love with them and the Kids enjoyed them a lot as well. One of the Room Parents prepared these fun and whimsical treats for the whole class. I was just checking to see if you’re pay attention! It was when I attended my Son’s Halloween Party. One cold and creepy night when I wondered into the forest alone….Okay, just kidding. The first time that I encountered these Witch’s Brooms was last October. Plus, these are pretty simple and healthy snacks to enjoy. With so many sweet treats around this time of the year, I think it’s pretty nice to prepare a savory treat for a change. These Witch’s Brooms are actually quite easy and fun to make. Yes, that’s how the Kiddos like to call themselves these days. I could go on and on with the countless Halloween efforts that were made throughout the years, but this is a recipe blog….haha.Īnd like all parties, food was quite often front and center. From late night costume making, frustrating pinata making, endless cupcakes for parties, making about 200 cut out bats (yes, we did that!), and we even spent days one year making paper maché dummies for the front garden. There were pretty much no lengths I wouldn’t go through to make it feel magical and spooky. When my kids were small, I loved making Halloween special for them.
